Multi?level natural capital implementation within planetary boundaries

In this conceptual paper, we examine current theories of natural capital approach implementation and identify areas where further research is needed to help humanity live within planetary boundaries. Natural ecosystem service approaches offer an advanced understanding Earth's life-support systems their interaction with human well-being at multiple scales, particularly organizations. The insights they are present in conservation accounting literature but not yet reflected corporate environmental sustainability literature, a gap paper seeks bridge. Without considering scale, it difficult understand how micro (individual) meso (organizational or national) actions contribute global goals (planetary boundaries).
